Transportation
For those travelling to Nanjing from outside China, it is best to reach Nanjing either by plane directly to Nanjing or by plane to Shanghai and then by train to Nanjing. The NUIST will provide land transportation on arrival at and departure from Nanjing, at Nanjing LU KOU airport.

Immigration and Health Requirement
A valid passport (and visa if applicable) is necessary for all persons entering China. An official invitation letter will be sent to the participants when the local organizer receives the attached visa assistance form.

Local currency is the Chinese Yuan (RMB), with the approximate value 1 Euro = 8.37 RMB, 1 USD = 6.33 RMB (Rates on XXX, 2018). The exchange rates are subject to daily variations. Chinese currency is decimal. Notes come in 100, 50, 20, 10, 5, and 1 yuan denominations. Coins come in 10c, 50c denominations.
