On the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the World Climate Research Programme, Gilles Sommeria (former CNRS-WMO, Geneva) and Ludovic Touzé-Peiffer (Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique - CNRS, Paris) wrote an article on WCRP for the journal of the French society for meteorology and climate, Météo et Climat.
