Immigration and Health Requirement
A valid passport (and visa if applicable) is necessary for all persons entering China. An official invitation letter will be sent to the participants when the local organizer receives the attached visa assistance form.
Latest entry and health requirements can be obtained from the Embassy of China in your country.
Money
Local currency is the Chinese Yuan (RMB), with the approximate value 1 Euro = 8.37 RMB, 1 USD = 6.33 RMB (Rates on XXX, 2018). The exchange rates are subject to daily variations. Chinese currency is decimal. Notes come in 100, 50, 20, 10, 5, and 1 yuan denominations. Coins come in 10c, 50c denominations.
Major currencies can be exchanged at the hotels or banks nearby. The most common credit cards (e.g., Visa, MasterCard) are accepted at major hotels and stores.
