The 1st International Symposium on Earth System Modeling (EarthSym) to be held from 12 to 14 August 2026 will bring together scientists, students, and professionals from a wide range of disciplines with the shared goal of improving the understanding of physical, chemical, and biological processes within the coupled Earth system. The symposium promotes collaboration between communities working in atmospheric sciences, oceanography, hydrology, and computational modeling, encouraging integration between observation, theory, and simulation.
The program includes invited talks, panel discussions, oral/poster presentations, and short courses.
EarthSym 2026 will feature keynote presentations, oral and poster sessions, panel discussions, and dedicated networking spaces, designed to strengthen international collaboration, present recent advances, and identify emerging challenges in numerical modeling.
