Dr. Daniela Matei is a Senior Research Scientist within the "Ocean in the Earth System" Department at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, Hamburg, Germany.
Her current research interests include near-term climate predictions, interannual-to-decadal climate variability and predictability, Arctic-lower latitudes linkages and the role played by ocean circulation in shaping the present and future climate variations and projections.
